Eurocopter, a division of aerospace and defence company EADS, is betting big on the civil helicopter market in Asia, especially India, as two of its key markets—North America and Europe—are yet to fly out of turbulence.

The Pawan Hans fleet of helicopters is fully deployed by the company for its various services and there has been a significant and steady rise in demand for Pawan Hans’s helicopters from various sectors like Law and Order, medical services, tourism. In view of the growth potential for its business, Pawan Hans has ordered for 10 new helicopters and has plans to expand its fleet by 100 helicopters in next few.
